Duck is still around Westport but has now turned his sights back into Hotrods. I did a job for him back 18 months or so ago. Still follows Speedway but the social side and croozyness of Hotrodding is his main interset nowadays. Hotroddings gain-- Our loss Im afraid.Great pedaller in his day!!

That car is actually sitting in my garage as I type this. It has had a full rebuild and is ready to be reassebled and raced. The guy that owns it goes by the name of Graeme Massey and he bought it from duck. The car for sale on TradeMe if anyone is interseted. He can be contacted on 0275125383. I will try to attach a photo of it as it was last raced tomorrow.

Hi Bit confused over this one as I also had an ex duck tranzam that came out of nelson or from the coast ? I think one of ducks pitcrew bought it then onsold it to me we updated the suspension then put it on a diet to get the weight down, the car was then sold to balclutha and is still there as far as I know raced as 0Y in Westport.

As far as I can remember, Ducks car was an ex Neville Wood 33n Pontiac. Memory is fuzzy but I think Duck got rid of his Gotina deal and bought the Pontiac off Trev Wishart???

Hi all just found this thread, so I'll confirm a few things as I'm Ducks step son. Yes the cortina was sold to buy the trans am from Trev Whishart. I can't remember where that one went tho offhand. Duck and Pump then built the Camaro from ground up and that then eventually went up North as stated above. First there was an hq streetstock. Then a mk3 cortina saloon then the mk4 (or 5? Can't remember). Then onto the chevs. Extremely talented guy and bloody good dad. 👍.
