Just going through all of the different clubs race dates for the upcoming season, and notice the travelling National Midget Car Series (NMCS) show doesn't appear on many calendars. Does anybody have a tentative or proposed schedule?

Are these dates confirmed??? Waikaraka are (were? haven't re-checked today) showing 2 rounds of the NMCS on their website, December 5th and April 17th, neither of which matches that posted above (especially as the cars are in the Taranaki December 4th/5th)

Those dates are confirmed as i have been given these from a someone who got them from a NMCS Driver. They were handed these out during the week at a special meeting.

Hi all first of all the confirmed schedule will be out in about a week. It hasn't been easy to secure dates. Fisrt of all we couldn't do anything until the springs confirmed their schedule. Secondly we are waiting to confirm a few other dates.
But so far this is what we have......
Palmerston North - Nov 21st Ferndene - Dec 4th or 6th Dec TBC Stratford - Dec 5th Springs - Feb 27th (North Island Midget) Gisborne - March 26th TBC Napier - March 27th KihiKihi - March 28th (NZ Midget GP) Waikaraka - April 10th
We have met with Huntly and are waiting to hear back from them in about a week.
This is the official line. So we know what rumours are like. I wouldn't believe anything unless it comes through the official NMCS line. We'll do our best to keep everyone updated over the next week or two.
Anybody who would like to discuss anything please email me bryce@openwheel.co.nz or phone me 0212436262
thanks Bryce

you reckon its better than harrisvilles half mile track? I haven't been to Harrisville, only driven past it, but it doesn't look like a half-mile to me. I believe Meremere was a 1/3 mile, and I didn't think the Ohakea track was as big as that. Isn't it just a very wide 1/4 mile, not a half-mile?

well not sure exactly, the transponder information on my laps says 0.445 of a mile so if that right then yea, and when i drove there i had to drop 3 gears sets, and i felt dammmm fast with a tight corner at one end and a really big corner at the other, i cant wait to go back next time thats for sure.

Jason, i reckon you might find that Harrisville is about 445 metres near the pole-line. You sure your transponder was readin miles or kilometres mate ?? Maybe the Harrisville gang can answer this for us all.
