Just heard from a driver still in Dunedin. Having an excellent time in the South, blown away by the hospitality and scenery with excellent tracks. The competitors, while clearly competitive and independent, are racing clean and helpful, great team in place. Incidents have been, for the most part, a result of bad luck / mechanical, rather than brain fade. Steve Williams is still grinning ;D after his stock car prowess last night, hoping to have a new cam fitted in 21h for tonight at Ruapuna.

Sounds like a great night of Racing is being had at Ruapuna for the saloons. The great news is Steve Williams is back out doing what he loves and the racing is relatively incident free. Okay track, albeit a bit lumpy. Warm evening with a reasonable crowd. My informant missed heat one.Heat 2, Group 1: 46a, 98h, 43h, 96d, 34d Next text says: 5r, 21h, 791e, 13i, 5c Dash: 21h, 45m, 74a 9.25pm Saloons on the track now. B. Main: 48a, 34h, 27a, 791e

A bit of wind, No rain for the last 2 hours, but not blue sky at the same time,
Only time will tell if it goes ahead or not,
find out at 2pm if its going ahead or not.
