The Western Springs promotion have just received permission from Council to run the rest of the Wynn's International Sprintcar Classic meeting this evening, 6pm start, 8.30pm finish, FREE ENTRY at the gate, and by my reckoning still 11 races to go.

A once in a lifetime chance to see Joey Saldana and Craig Dollansky for free!
I hope the speedway public gets behind this outstanding gesture. It would be easier to charge $15 but they gates will be thrown open.
Best of all I've just reviewed the format. By virtue of not winning their heat, Saldana and Dollansky will not be off the front of the dash. Instead their names will go into a hat for grids 4-10 in the dash. I'm begging for Saldana to pull out a 10!
Either way the yanks are going to have to pass plenty of Kiwis to win which can only mean one thing. ENTERTAINMENT!!

I've just been informed there is an error in the format of the printed program in relation to the dash grids. However the Yanks are still going to have to pass cars - I think!

Thanks for the Free meeting Western Springs departed Kihikihi Speedway at 4pm and arrived at Western Spring for Start.
