Good list of competitors for the Taranaki Modified Champs this weekend. Who's going to win?
[glow=green,2,300]1nzs John Jackson 3nzs Bunter Pierce 4h Bruce Watts 5w Brian McPhee 6w Phil Patterson 6s Roydon Collingwood 8s Sean Rice 11a Jamie Fox 55s Paul Ward 77s Craig Ward 78a Ray Chatfield 121s Stuart Rose 226s Blair Luscombe [/glow]
There could be some additions yet. Both Mark Dixon and Willie Noonan are trying to get their cars ready and Grant Harris and Gary Parker from Auckland have you to make a decision on weather they are coming or not.

Superstocks are running but I don't think the 7s car will be there. My understanding is that they are going to concentrate on the Mod this meeting.

No 64a or 21a.
6a and 56a are both disappointed they couldn't make it as both away in the States on business. This leaves the Akl flag to be carried by 11a and 78a.
Looks like a strong field though!
Don't forget your goggles!!

How is Blair Luscombe going in a Mod? As for the winner; with absolutely no one-eyed Wellington bais I pick 5W and 6W to be the top two

As it is with only Ray and Foxy willing to go down to Stratty it isn't flash. We want these guys to come up and support our meetings but when the time comes to return the favor Akl mod drivers are as scarce as hens teeth!! As far as I can tell only 3 guys have a legit excuse for not going. Both 6a and 56a are in Texas for work commitments and Crumpy has damage still to be fixed. Others who stuck their hands up at our preseason meeting seem to have vanished!

Hey people, just like to apologize from the scrapper team for not fronting, and Jamo we to have a very good reason not to show. However this was part of our program at the start of the season and the more track time the better for us. The decision not to go to Stratford was not taken lightly, as was the decision not to go to Rotorua. We were asked to race at Huntly on the 12th and if that goes ahead we will be there and will be at the N.I champs as well. The cost for us on those meetings is just manageable at this stage. Hope to catch up with all of you then. Regards Ardy.
