Hope you not selling the car Jason??? What will i do on a sat night. Back on topic..... I don't feel even F2 midgets should run with the midgets, let alone wingless minisprints. There would be to many "mobile chicanes" and make for dangerous racing. While they may look the same( F2s and midgets) the both handle very differently. Anyway why not leave the minisprints alone and take the wings of the SPRINTCARS... now that would be worth watching. ;D OR midgets with minisprint wings..But that a whole nother can of worms. yours in racig NRP271

Minisprints would go slower with there wings off!!! A top minisprint = 25-35K v's a top midget = 80-100K. A 40K midget is really only a B Grade midget. - Maybe a steping stone between F2's and a Top Midget. A 30K minsprint could be a top contender in its class where as a 40K midget would probably be a mid pack contender in its class. Some Minisprints are worth more than Midgets its OMG but its true. AD

thats your opinion crashtest but i know what i saw and its what most others saw and it aint what you saw. Someone must have the video of that race to show to you and others so you can stop talking so much sh%t and get on with it. And the comment about the wades being able to afford that is bull. Shaun runs that car off his own back and does best with what he has.

wingless minisprints,midgets,f2.Lap times tell the storie for each class, track conditions, car setup, driver ability, all play a factor in any class. What ive learnt in over 20 years of racing all forms of motorsport.$$$$ play a big part in this sport, some have small budgets, some have endless budgets. I know of 10k vehicles footing it with 50k cars in speedway. If you want to spend big dollars go ahead.BUT that does not mean you will be at the pointy end of the end of the field.
Drivers never want to admit that cars of lesser value than thier one has done better lap times than them.
100 hp or 700 hp who cares, you cant compare an apple to a pear and say it tastes and looks the same. But what would i know only my off the wall opinion.

Not really wanting to fuel the argument but I once called the Minisprints a budget class in one of my reviews and was quickly set right by emails from drivers of the time claiming they weren't a budget class and stating they had spent money ranging from $30,000 to $70,000 . That was 3, 4 or 5 years ago .
up until that point I had thought the aim was to have a class that would only cost around $5,000 to be competitive in .

I think that was the idea of the class, but as you know your self, they all start out that way. Then teams come along with a big budget to win at all cost. Then before you know it the cars double in price.
Each class as its good points and bad points,at the end of the day we are all here to race and put a show on for what little crowds we do get on normal nights show.
One thing i would like to say is that without good crew none of us would even get to the track to prove the points.

"minisprints been their raced them" - "raced F2's" - I'd hardly call what you did when you had those two cars - RACING!!!! I think you managed to do a few laps at a few meetings.

I think wingless minisprints look sick, and when you leave the front wing on.
The Minisprint build were doing at the moment isn't going to be near 25k (I hope) up to 10k now and it's only a roller at the moment.

i was angry about that crash, i have goten over it, i dont wana get fired up on that, the point is, me and wade both had ample oppertunity to smash the nuts out of each others cars at stratford, he pulled off a clean as pass and i was stoked, thats how it should be we have the crash on video, me and steinbring took a deep line and a late apex, wade took early apex on pole, so it was gona happen no matter what thats how i see it now, i didnt at first, but it is how i see it now, when he starts driving deeper he will be very fast, thats my view.
