With all this bad weather, we now have a fun run to Christmas, some meetings will now double up champs and that will mean a super bonus for the crowds. Huntly has both the midgets and the super stocks, the midget 40 lapper last year was a great race and now add super stocks in a Waikato title too. that means many who asked for great support classes have ended up with some great classes all racing together. ;D ;D

Should be the biggest Midget field in NZ this season, I can see the 30 car mark being given a nudge if the drivers get behind the event.
Running Stockcars is a no brainer - run them.

all will bring people, Percy to see the midgets as will many midget fans if last year is the benchmark, many to see the super stocks because they do bring a crowd, and speedway people who come for all the classes every week and me to throw Minties at people.

Agreed, plenty of fans to be attracted to this meeting. Big hole in the Springs calendar means starved Springs fans looking for Midget action. Will be inteersting to see if the Waikato Superstocks benefits from the big King Country entrance list. Would make a nice double header for the drivers doing Waikato/King Country champs in the same weekend. Supplement that with Minisprints, Stockcars and Productions and you have an attractive meeting for both sets of fans.
