A few mths ago,open wheel racers from western springs were told from SNZ & SPRINGS PROMOTIONS(Lewis Dawson) that no cars from the springs will be able to run on W/park,even just to practise or even personal hire.So when I am watching 3 news that we see a midget running around w/park for tv.What makes it worse is that the owner of the midget works for BSL.If someone from Snz or SPRINGS PROMOTIONS could please explain. Both Tim from SNZ & Lewis ,both said to me that until this matter was taken care of,NO ONE is to run at W/park.So rules for some & not for others.. Raymond Griffen #11

This is not a personal dig at Simon Longdill,I wish Simon & the boys the best of luck in the US.Also it was just brought to my attention that Simon is no longer employed by BSL.

I think you will find the car they were running isnt registered to the springs,

I'm curious to know why Springs registered cars are forbidden from running at WP, even when it's for personal hire. I would have thought there would nothing stopping anyone from hiring a venue to run their car at, surely under those circumstances it is between the hirer and the hiree. Can someone please explain.

Funny ,how come the two CRC synergy V8 midgets had duck taped "A" above there number lst nightat huntly.Great show by the way.

Dribble doesnt warrant a response,especially when Ray has the option of getting his chin wiped by going directly to those he wants answers from. No conspiracies......both cars have been built for the US,the "duct" taped A's merely to comply with SNZ requirements. |

Nomad my comment was not dribble as these posts are read by people from around the word and when you only hear one side of things it looks like the other side has something to hide. As to the first query I thought it is the drivers that con-track to a track not there cars?

Once again your comments are personal and have no justification to this matter Nomad. This to me and other readers shows that there is merit to the points that have been raised!!! Your comments revert back not just as coming from you personally but to the large corporation you are constantly trying to defend, which all and all you are making the topic even larger than we may have believe it to be and could be occurring more frequently.

I agree Stevo, a few answers would be nice. We all know that practicing at the springs is a no go. However why would they block a team hiring W/park and using that venue ?? Surely its a private arrangement, and as such neither Springs speedway or Speedway NZ need to be involved ??
