Nomad .If you are going to personal attack someone, have the decency to put your real name to it. As to the topic,I spoke to Bryce friday morning. I guess nomad you should call Bryce & speak to him about the crap he had to go through to get his driving school up & going using W/park.Lewis was trying to put a stop on that.
Nomad, yourself or anybody else can call me 021 474919 or 2634506.Any way to everyone else (not nomad)have a great xmas & see ya boxing day. ;D ;D
Macgor has modified this post to clean it up.

Barry B locked the other thread , actually I thought he had done it the other day but it seems it got unlocked again, never mind .
Nomad's posts in the other thread were not very good , wish I had seen them first .
I've seen this thread though and unless you want it locked too then refrain from the personal attacks.
At this stage I'm not sure the topic is still valid or not as I'm somewhat remote from the happenings in Auckland so will leave it in the meantime.

Ron, im not sure what pole you're running the flag up which is nothing unusual, but ive got thick skin and dont take adverse comment as being a "personal attack".
The thread concerned was instigated for no other reason than to agitate, something Ray has done more than once in regards the issues he has with the Management at the Springs.
If he chooses a messageboard to play out his grievances then hes choosing to have his contributions challenged, more so if he chooses to agitate for nefarious reasons as evidenced by the nature of the thread.
Ray.
Best wishes to you and the family for a safe and happy christmas and a prosperous 2010.

Ok lets just put to one side the personal opinions on people here for one second and answer the question which has been asked. I too would like to know the answer as i have no idea what it is. All I know is this. 1. I own my car....no one else owns it.....certainly not my promoter 2. I sign a contract with my promoter and I honor that contract. 3. Nothing in the contract stops me driving my car at any other track unless it is in conflict with a meeting that I am under contract to run at. 4. I pay another track the right to use, if they let me, there track to test my car. 5. I have done this many times over the last 13 years. This helps me fine tune my car or fix a problem which in turn allows me to race at my contracted track and put on a performance for the paying public.
I have no idea why all of a sudden I cannot take MY car to another track close to my home and test like I have been doing for years.
So someone please answer me why a Director on the board and a promoter of a rival track will not let us do that now. A fair question i would have thought.

Yes I did previously lock the other thread, but was asked to re-open it with what I thought were pretty reasonable argument for letting the discussion run. However, several days later it was basically just two people sniping each other with nothing else of value being added at all, so I locked it again.
I have to wonder at times though, with the questions some people ask on here, why they don't just pick up the phone and ring the person concerned. Or is that too easy, and not mischievous enough?
This isn't aimed at Bill, he explains his particular situation pretty well above, but as we've seen in many instances over the years, questions asked on these Boards would be much better aimed directly at the person or persons the questioner wants the answers from.

In answer to Bills questions there are lots of contractual rules that are in section G that should be looked at G5/1/5? G5/1/9?
on the other hand when is a speedway track not a speedway track? waki park is a licenced speedway track so must comply with the rules when is a midget car not a midget car? i know bill was not at the park - but lets use his car for an argument 75a is a registered vehicle licenced to race in auckland at the springs not at the park. so if 75a is zooming around the park for whatever reason the park and bill are breaking some rules - no?

Cant see how the clauses referred to would stop any car running/testing at W.P. provided its not happening at a time when that car is meant to be appearing at its home track!!!!!!!!

Maybe in the case of Auckland (3 tracks), Christchurch (also 3 tracks) and Invercargill (2 tracks), but particularly Aucks and ChCh, there are cross-town agreements in place which requires paperwork to be completed by both parties for everything to work? Just a thought............
