Yep, seen it at Palmy in minisprints. Pacesetter is outside front row, jumped before entering the start box, sent to the back for the restart. Drivers new the rules going in, told at drivers meeting.

not going to say where, or what class
the driver that was in 1 was ahead of the pace setter coming onto turn 4 , with the flag raised the pace setter increase there speed as the crossed the start/finish line, sling shoting grid one ass they wen rt up to the same speed,
im sure its a grey area how it was done, but we were pace setter, it was up to the car beside to slow down/ speed up to resume the same pace
and if the tower wasn't happy dont throw the green,
there were a couple other factors involved i believe, the SNZ button pushed person, didn't push the button until after the flag was dropped,
which is another question, do you race to the flags or teh lights? or is that a track by track thing?

If you were at cromwell why didnt just cut the pole line like ALL the other sprintcar drivers and catch up ?? most off them raced round turn 2 and 3 with two wheels over the pole!!!! Seems to be a standard thing for that grade?? Lets see if ya get away with it come feburary....Good show tho
