Probably still some sorting out by SNZ after the 40 lapper
12 sprint cars in attendance, 21 Mark Browne won feature easily.
Midgets, some of the best and also oddest racing I have ever seen. Springs regulars in heats, and the test guys in 3 separate races, with the top 4 from each into a pole shuffle 2 lap sprint series.
Michael Kendall qualified 1st for the 40 lapper after the pole shuffer, Wayne Green on 2, Jerry Coons jr 3rd , Pickens 14th and Mosen somewhere down the grid also after the test series races.
Kendall led, only to flat and pull off, there were also a couple of spins and restarts back where they were placed prior to the incident.
soem great racing between Mosen, Pickens,Alach, Swindell and Coons Jnr, it got down tot the last lap and mosen and pickens came together resulting in pickens going over on his lid. Mosen then pulled off, then went to the back, then went back to the front??? and took the chequered flag. Mix of cheers and boos in the crowd.
17a nevano cowan won a heat in the TQs.
Kiwikids car rolled also, hopefully driver ok, same also with the older guy in 89a f2 midget.

Huge crash with the F2 midget 89A. Got hit by another car whilst sliding into the corner at the end of the front straight. 89A flipped into the air completing TWO 360 degree barrel rolls in the air before landing on its wheels then bouncing up again for a third 360 barrel roll and finally stopping sitting on all fours. Whew!!
40 Lapper - 1st -13 Mosen, then 11 Alach, 1Aus (Swindell), 3USA, Coons............. 17K Brunt finished 5th or 6th resulting in 3rd overall for the International series so far.
Sprintcars -
Heat 1 1st - 9A, then 78A, 11A, 72A, 71A in 2:16.433
Heat 2 1st - 21A, then 71A, 56A, 27A, 96A, 59A, 9A, 78A, 35A, 11A, 72A with 4A DNF.
Feature - 1st - 21A then 56A, 27A, 78A, 71A, 35A, 11A, 96A, 4A, 72A with 9A and 59A both DNF.
Only scratching from the programme was 23A Adam Child.

When did they start allowing video replays to impact decisions?
How many NZ titles could we get changed with video reviews?
