Qualifying results for the 50 lapper. Pickens, Kendal, Hatton, Mosen, Coons, Clarkson, Williams, hickman, Elliot, Insely, Buckley, Vincent, McCouchion, Allach, Swindell, Green. I know this is not complete field. That's just as far as the text went.
Seems track was slicking off. Pickens was last to qualify. And got fast time.
Semi main, Beale, Brunt, Kerr, Snooks.
B dash, Elliot, Insely, Buckley, McCouchion Beale, Green, Allach.

kendall's best race for a while. A fine effort to out drag Pickens at the start and a good early lead only hampered by catching the tail of the field. An early yellow might have helped him.

Pickens led for 1 lap after passing Kendall, only to be passed by Coons the following lap after he had followed Pickens by Kendall in the slipstream.
Mosen clipped the wall coming off turn 4 approaching the white flag (in 4th place), but I'm not sure if that's what caused his flat right rear or whether it was the flat trye dragged him into the conrcrete.
The drive of the race for me was Swindell, from 17th to 2nd with a troublesome car with the benefit of only 1 caution.

Swindell running 1 car wide of the pole line from start of race payed off, seemed to be one of only few cars which could run that little bit wider. Really payed off in traffic. Fantastic drive from 17th. Although was never going to get Jerry Coons Jnr, was a fantastic race car, set up[ to run the bottom and did it so well. Bad Luck to Brad, fantastic drive by Kendell.
