MediaWorks Radio today announced LiveSPORT Radio as the new brand name for the sport and racing network formerly known as BSport.
LiveSPORT will continue to provide sport purists with an entertaining and informed radio programme in addition to generating sport news for a potential audience of 1.4 million per week* via the RadioLIVE sport news bulletins across the MediaWorks Radio network.
Live SPORT maintains the current line-up featuring Ian Smith, Nathan Rarere and Dean Lonergan, Martin Devlin, Richard Loe, James McOnie and Geoff Thomas.
Scott Walker, operations manager for LiveSPORT said “we already share content and editorial with RadioLIVE so this rebranding will simply continue to consolidate the on-air efforts of the sport desk team and ensure the delivery of top sport news content for the company.”
LiveSPORT’s relationship with the New Zealand Racing Board and Radio Trackside remain the same with the NZRB very supportive of the change. Trackside hosts Grant Nisbett, Jon Preston and Mark Stafford resume their show on 23 January.
