Check out the 139 car entry list and groups...More cars then NZ GP in palmy and if we have this many for Nth Islands, imagine the number for NZs in wangavegas....
Some interesting drivers in certain cars, some drivers you would expect to see missing from list also.

The global 248 superstock challenge is on in palmy that weekend so I suppose he is using his super instead of the standard stock.

Peter Rees has now entered this event so that makes a full set of 1,2 and 3nz. Been a couple of withdrawls and a couple new entries. The entry list now stands at 143. Updated groups and entry list at www.stratford-speedway.co.nz

If the action at the GP was anything to go by, this will be a fantastic spectacle. 143 must be by far the most we have had at the NIs. With 39 from the host track surely it must be time for a Stratford drivers to win a title in this class.

No matter where a championship is held there is always going to be a larger percentage of drivers entering from tracks nearer to the host track. Don't forget Grissy and Bay supporters it only takes one driver from your track in the final to win it. As the esteemed Mr Linklater showed at the NZs a few seasons back.

my guess for rees not being at palmy this weekend is coz he was having issues with his super at the world 240's, but that's just a guess

It sounds like the supastock got a lot of damage at the 240s so probably fixing it for the nzs at 2 k"s.also looking at possible paybacks.

Whatever the reason for 3NZs entry, having another top class driver and one who enters into the P vs W battles wholeheartedly, is only going to enhance what promises to be an entertainment spectacular.

P Rees was rather tame at the 240,s in his stockcar and super Rather surprised to see him flag race both night especially in the stockacar ist night Bummer always expect the usual carnage from Pete Must be saving it up for somwhere or some people lol Massive number of entrants be bloody good 2 nights carnage

Rees had a chance of winning the 240's til his car died in the last heat, time for some of the other palmy cars to help him out for a change. Which they did.

Consider this - I think you'll find he entered for Stratford BEFORE the World 240's raced on Sunday.
I suspect if he was "having issues" with the Super he'd be racing at Palmy, because he'd want to sort them before the NZ's and the Teams. Maybe he just wants to race in Stratty??
