Head motivator and team manager Jonny O supervising the loading of the sandblasted and primed 687gm back onto the trailer for delivery to the workshop = or to be left on the trailer out back for a spell anyway The 3-rail being trimmed some more - that's where the roll cage and back bumper used to be The trimmings, which is being used as a cage for the Stig – nah just kidding, they have a long leash for him, but the roll cage will be on trade me shortly if someone is keen, only one lady owner, and never rolled (that may change this season, hence the need for a new cage according to Commander Cleve) There should be another couple of pics from Olly of the 3 rail with little left of it, and no doubt with some other progress shots. Here's the new hoop tacked in place – check out the difference in cell phones, this is from the new phone after Olly finally killed the one he bought in the UK back in ‘98 And recently spotted in the south island, but not in Nelson – whisper was a new owner/driver might have a spin in GM every now and then – maybe more now than then WHoever bought this got a good deal I reckon, but the person txting me wasn;t in my phone book and wouldn't give it up, so time will tell I guess.

Hads / Olly Great to follow your up dates you guys are way ahead of me on the rebuilds , 107 is stripped down but I haven't even started the cutting yet. Maybe we should have someone here doing a report on the Christchurch cars ?
If you had been racing at Westport you could have spoken to the new owner / driver of the old 4n stock car as he was there racing with us

Thanks for the Feedback colinC. As an aside, I was talking to a mate about the cool footage that was posted by wal from the NZ Champs in 83/84 at the glen, and I commented about Pooh Bear being right amongst the tanks, and him having raced almost forever. My mate mentinoed to me he had the program for that event, and some other old bugger was racing at that meeting in both the stockcar and saloon classes. Can you guess who it was? I'll give you a clue, he was running a 3 digit number waaaaaayyyyy back then too ;D It was...........................................107c If you start your own drivers board i'm sure that will be a good start into some CHCH drivers, since you have a couple of cars come through your shed evey now and then. We wanted to do something like this to keep people on the coast positive -as you can see from the buy or sell pages there are 5 stockcars from GM for sale, so the class is under a bit of pressure. Mind you, the last count up had 22 drivers on the list, so hopefully we can half of those regularly. Back to the topic - another update photo from last nights activity
