With the rain overnight and further outlook to be considered, the Rotorua promotion will be making a decision at 11am this morning as to what happens next with the NZ Superstock championship meeting. Please don't ask me any questions on what the decision is likely to be, I have no idea, but have just been asked to put this notice up. Fingers crossed eh...
UPDATE; Rain radar has been checked and a few phone calls to surrounding areas made, and it has been agreed by the promotion that a final decision will now be deferred until 12.30pm. I will update this notice from the track as soon as I know more.

You are right IK and just to add to that a fair amount will have been spent by spectators as well on petrol, food, accommodation etc...
Who's going to be first to build an indoor speedway track.. ;D

Or one that's not any form of clay and can be raced on in the rain ...

Or one that's not any form of clay and can be raced on in the rain ... Not speedway, but - Hampton Downs, Pukekohe, Ruapuna, Levels and Teretonga are all seal and can run in the rain (to a point). The spectators still get wet though.

Hi all, sitting here at the motel trying to figure whether to stay or go home.
Can anyone officially confirm that the meeting will be held on Wednesday 29th and Thursday 30th.
