Hi all, sitting here at the motel trying to figure whether to stay or go home. Can anyone officially confirm that the meeting will be held on Wednesday 29th and Thursday 30th. Yes i work at the track and the decision is to run tomorrow night and Thurs or each concesutive day until the meeting has run. The weather forecast for the next 2 days looks good so fingers crossed this rain goes away.

Would this have to be the unluckiest class with the same happening last year although a bit more dramatic

I THINK WE JINX IT....this is the first speedway meet of the year for us and the weather is CR-P, last year we went the Kihikihi's first night as well .....sitting in the rain last night, laughing at the announcers who were sitting out of the rain saying it was very light rain...as we were getting rather drenched (ever so hopeful with the umbrella in the car)...dumb arse you say..not just being positive...never mind nothing can be done lets hope not too many competitors have to pull out because of this, that would be quite horrid.... weather looks great for tomorrow, thankfully, fingers crossed and thanks to all the competitors and helpers that will make this event happen eventually .. hoping for a sunny day tomorrow...ps by the way Barry & Mintie can you talk up we can hardly hear you talking over the loud speakers in turn 3/4 but we can hear Paul fine.

Yes its almost a shame it wasnt a day meet as they had hours of sun shine, however you have to allow cars to get there and track prep etc. Was s shame as up until 6.50pm it was a scorcher.

by the way Barry & Mintie can you talk up we can hardly hear you talking over the loud speakers in turn 3/4 but we can hear Paul fine. Yes, we received a text message saying that too - I think Paul knicked the only good microphone There were a couple of technical issues with the sound system early, but hopefully they've fixed them now.
