I had a nagging feeling Horse may have been in that Busters outfit too. As I say it may have been tactics that have made him look a little timid the past couple of years. For all you Rebels fans out there lets hope they straighten that out so they can smash the P on Friday night

its a good rebels team & with how stieny is going at the moment and and the speed of fraser and experince & madness of decke and definitly the toughness of horse they are going to be the team to beat palmy!! only downfall of the rebels( & hopefully hes reserve) is hewson. yes hes fast but will he really put all that chrome on the line to wreak his car if he has to, for some reason i dont & if he was out & remnant in that would be the dream team of 2011!!!

horse is thee most frustrating driver to watch bcoz his tank is fast and he dus know how to put in big hits but the last few teams champs hes done nothing even at paradise valley he jst circulates and tries to win even if hes nowhere near the front y not use his tank for wat its made for, as for kyle using browns tank last year wat a screw up that was to use a tank only used once b4 that, hewson put his car on the line in 09 and was a standout for the rebels that year and will be this year, i dont think remnant was in he team because he only jst gt his car on the track for the nzs and wasnt very reliable at that meeting

horse was and still is 1 of the best teams racers in nz!!! ok he mite not have done to many big hits in last few teams meetings but i think alot of people forget that teams racing just aint about big hits, its about tatics, and doing what you have to do to win, whether its abig hit or just jumping on brakes in front of the oppisition. and with the whole points system thing you got to make sure you dont wreak ya own car in a big hit.

haha mine too mate pat was the man in his day, no hes not interested anymore now that he has built his own car this season he pretty much has a lack of funding to go teams racing, he cant afford to fix it all the time and if u kno pat hes far too shy to go looking for sponsorship deals i think hes only really racing again to get his son boyd into it after he retires which is a real shame a driver like pat brings alot of ppl thru the gates

Any team that takes the 2011 Rebel team lightly may find themselves on the trailer early this weekend. This team is made up of four Very experienced Teams racers and one teams newbie with massive potential, his efforts for the rebels as a rookie a few seasons ago showed Hewson will be a top teams racer once he gets some track time and i don't believe he will have his "chrome" in his mind when on the track. Horse is no weak link in the team, all drivers suffer a bad teams race or maybe a down in form, this can be due to issues with machinery or doing a role that may not be a strong point. But Horse is a committed racer and will hopefully be in a role we are more used to seeing him in, ripping into the oppositions runners!!!! Kyle didn't have such a great Teams Champs last year and i know even he was disappointed, so i believe Mr Fraser will be a dangerous man this weekend and know he is pumped and ready to do it for the team. ;D I don't think there is a need to question these guys committment or ability........just sit back and watch....... ;D

People on here make me laugh. The judgement call that Ross did not put his name forward because of business committments is his choice. However, with the injury Osborne, he put his hand up and ready to go do what he does best... teams race. To say that he shoud lend his car to McRobbie to trash is stupid. I would take horse in his old 38m baypark buster car before most racers is NZ. Experience counts in teams racing and this is a very strong Rebels team made stronger with Ross in it. I just hope that the tactics this time are good because they have the machinery and people to win.
I think this could be a close champs which could leave the Rebels missing out on the finals even if they beat the Panthers because the points system. Good luck and smash anything that does not have an R on the side!!!

Horse posted on here a while ago that he did not put his name forward due to work commitments. I am stoked Horse has made the commitment to step in for Mark and really looking forward to watching the Rebels race. Go hard boys

Do you even no what it takes to put your name forward for an event like this? The financial commitment and also putting your car and body on the line.. People like you need to think before they open their mouths-Horse has done many years of teams racing and on many occasion been the instigator of victories. GO THE REBELS Him an Kyle have a great understanding of each other from all the track time they have spent together and even tho over the years results havent always gone their way they both bring massive experience to the team. They have a great mix of guys this year but also a tough draw as we all no. But i think each and every1 of the guys that has put their name forward to race for any team should have earned a fair amount of respect from all us keyboard racers. Im sure somebody will lend you a car if you want to show Horse how to drive maybe you could entertain us all in a run off with him just look at the footage of the run off with Lionel Penn vs Horse

a 1 on 1 runoff is completely different to a four on four teams race i had high hopes for ashby and the rebels when he got the tank but the last few years he hasnt delivered what we all know hes capable of dus any1 disagree? im not talking about the buster days im talking right now your only as good as ur last performance, and im not blaming him for the rebels not doing the job its a team effort and they all need to step up, agreed they have the machinery and experience to do great things and i really hope they do

4zfed I like your comment about earning respect for putting your name forward for this event. The massive financial cost! Risk of serious injury and putting car on the line, I think many underestimate what goes into this weekend!

Forget about the financial cost and putting your car on the line... That nuts hurts! And horse keeps coming back for more, much respect to the man for that alone. Ya can't have an awesome run every year and if you don't stand out it certainly does not mean you havn't done your job or put in a 100% commitment. I would so love for some of you guys to actually know how the body feels after one teams race let alone 2 nights of it, the body doesn't just recover after a day or two, especially as you get older. And as I said That sh#t hurts!!
