well supastocknut..........................................I think you are right on the money there and have resisted posting similar for quite some time. Not that I'm in favour of being over critical of drivers but some realism wouldn't go amiss at times.

hooraay i agree for once haha most drivers dont put all that money and effort into there cars take time off work put ther body and car on the line for our entertainment they probably get more buzz out of racing than the fans do from watching, but i think it was mark decke that was qouted "its about putting on a show" after his runoff at the nzs? so maybe its different for different drivers

Well you'd have to say that was one very impressive Rebels team this year. Ross Ashby was an absolute star in his commitment to the cause and the rest of the team equally so. Well done Rotorua Rebels.

Horse was absolute class tonight. Took everything that everyone three at him, dished out a fair bit himself.....and it took a highly unusual incident to send him to the infield. Thought Rotorua as a whole played it pretty well as a team...they just came up against four very angry Tigers in the 3/4 runoff....

It seemed that the Rebels improved every race, one would think the best plan for taking the title next season, would be to organise a race or two before the teams champs.

A hell of an improvement on last year . Horse took a hammering last night . But looked in good shape at the Turangi Burger King today ..
Maybe a 4 way teams series should be arranged next year prior to the Palmy event to get some teams racing under their belts . Seems to pay dividends . [ Rotorua KihiKihi Huntly Auckland ] or even Hawkes Bay ..

hope there is a auckland team, and have the same team in

REBELS silenced alot of critics on the weekend and did themselves proud. Horse was on fire lastnight he was an absolute handful ;D This team has the foundations to go even further in the next couple of years and have the goods to win Auckland Teams Nationals. Pity they didnt get to meet Palmy on night 2 they proved a worthy opponent for the Tigers and how different things could of been if Hewson didnt get stranded on Ewers bonnet but whats done is done. So big congrats to all the Rebels boys stick together guys along with Remnant and Osborne you have a great crew to pick from ;D

Well done to all 5 drivers, you have done your crews, club and supporters proud! I'm sure if you stick together the final placing can only get better!

The boys did very well. Had one very happy coach beside me during the race against HB. Horse didnt have to prove anything to anyone over the weekend, BUT would have to have been one of the best drivers out there putting himself and the car on the line. If they can keep this WHOLE team together (coach, manager, and all the people in the background) they will be a big force to be reckoned with.

Ateamboy seems to be very quiet at the moment considering all of his previous comments.

Ateamboy seems to be very quiet at the moment considering all of his previous comments. I was thinking the same thing. Rebels were definitely the most improved team..lets hope the club get behind them and get some other teams races going over the season for them to hone their tactics along with giving other teams such as Waikato, Kihikihi, Hawkeyes etc some much needed practice.
