Hey guys i didn,t expect this thread to turn into a discussion on 59c/299c Brad Rosewarne but no i don,t think he is in 2011 Glen Eagles there is a little whisper saying Dennis "The Menace" Andreassend is in the Leech Tank for Palmy I can confirm that, And also on the WFG website it states him in the team.

Ah, you know how it is Scotty. A few people get together, start a conversation, start reminiscing about old times, crack open a couple of beers around the BBQ, chuck all the car keys into a big bowl, look at each all funny and, next you thing you know, everything's gone off on an entirely different tangent.... hmmm, so you're a member of that special group in chch too then penman???

To be fair he put a car in the wall and took himself out in the final race and seemed to not be able to get the car around corners without going into the wall most laps. Hope for an improvement tonight.

and making 27c catch fire... Man drivers sure have funny ways of "diving" out of a car in a hurry when they need too.

So at the Hoopla last night the commentators and I quote as well as I can remember it I won't have it exactly right bad memory...
It when something like there has been alot of talks on various websites around the country about a glen eagles team for palmy (or something like that) so the glen eagles manager has decided that tonight they are going to have a close look at all the superstocks and after the meet they will choose a team.
Now the funny thing was that instead of lining them up with a push car infront and then the pushcar drives off and the lights go green all the superstock races last night the driver backed up into the wall in turn 3 or 4 and then they all started from there... Was funny and weird.

I wasn't doubting the guy i was just saying lets keep it accurate for people that weren't there. To say had an immediate impact on Friday night? I don't think so...

The Eagles team has been confirmed!!! Read it on the Woodford glen site. WHAT A TEAM!!!!!
Team is, Malcom Ngatai, Matt Ngatai, Murray Greig, Nick Selfe, Dennis Andreassend, Trevor Mason.
There is no mention of which cars are being used or which one of this talented bunch is the spare driver, i would assume they will all be in there normal cars. GO THE EAGLES!!!! ;D

I don't know why but i dont think the team is very good oh-well personal opinion don't kill me The only person that has speed and runs is malcolm ngatai and maybe Dennis but if I was Dennis i wouldnt worry about going fast. if you know what I mean

This team is very capable of winning races, you don't have to fast to be the runner for a team you just have to circulate and let your blockers do the work. My opinion on teams racing is try to travel in pairs and have one guy set out as the runner and three blocking, if the blockers cover you well enough your slowest car could run. Look at Nelson for example, they do it well!!!!
Now back to the Eagles, Let Greig, run for the whole meeting and rotate the others in the blocking roles, they all have mongrel in them. Just my opinion!!! ;D

It may be a good team this year, but who knows. After watching the last meeting, Im just not sure how far they will go. Shame the McCall trophy didnt go ahead so they could get some decent practise.
Good luck

19c wouldn't hit Dennis (299c) on the other hand now that tank is going to go to work on the other teams.
