You'll recognise me then - I'll be dressed all in beige, drinking pureed Weetbix quietly through a straw. I'll also be carrying corks and air freshener...

Put your glasses on and read what I said on the other page! Im not going to aim it in peoples ears, I know how it feels when people dont either stand up or point the horn into the air.
I started this thread asking a question about air horns. I get the picture that you dont like them. Pity about those drunks from that support group. But what has that got to do with me asking a question about air horn refills?
And if your going to threaten about what you would like to do with peoples air horns. I hope your not just a old man sitting behind the screen and can walk the talk!

Thats true , But if you are going to be a clown spare a thought for the families that go along to enjoy the show put on by the teams . Idiots , drunks and drunken idiots ruin things for most .And it happens every year . In 2008 i bought grandstand tickets [ not cheap ] and took my grandaughter aged 7 yr old . A group of Nelsonion supporters turned up both nights paraletic . The crap we had to put up with from them , abuse , foul language , beer spilt down our necks . Security were told but did nothing about it . They did the same on the following night . End result , one Nelsonion slammed in the mouth by yours truly . Amasingly they were quiet for the rest of the night . Managed to avoid them in 2009 , but in 2010 as luck has it my partner and i had the misfortune of sitting next to the very same lot and they hadnt changed at all . By the end of night one another of the Nelsonion loudmouths had hit the concrete . People pay enough $$$$$ to go to these events and should be able to enjoy themselves in peace , without such b.llnuts . So whatever you do , you do it at your own risk.. I think really its the idiots that should stay home . So if you are planning on blowing a trumpet , be careful who,s ear its in , if its mine be prepared to have it shoved down your throat . Hence the surgical removal from your posteria.... ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D I go to Speedway week in week out with my cowbells and am probably one of the loudest there but im there supporting my favourite drivers. Teams champs is and has been well knowing for a growen ups weekend away where people get boozed and have a great time supporting there province. YOu know that before you turn up so its abit like enter at your own risk isnt it. And for the loud noises. Why go to speedway and listen to 26 v8s screaming at 95 disables an then be worryed about a little air horn?

Righto got it now, saturday/sunday speedway if a family sport. Teams champs is for a bunch of idiots to go get drunk be obnoxious and make some noise with the excuses to go with it all while trying to fit in watching some car racing. Its a shame that you have decided that those who wish to go watch the racing have to deal with your drunkeness and foul behaviour. You critise highrevz for yes being violent but is 1 punch better than sitting and listening to verbal abuse beer spilling and what you would class as "normal" goings on for 3 hours. And were trying to raise the level that speedway currently sits at.Its not just up to the drivers, how many people have walked away because of drunken and rudely noisey louts. Good on ya revz, if secuirty wont stop it protect your child as any good parent would.

Why should a family have to go to a speedway event and put up with what has been described by highrevz. Its not normal.Speedway is advertised as a family event hance the family pass etc. I and anyone else should be able to go to any event anywhere in the country without fear of being surrounded by the kinds of people that are being described but you just brush it off as ok. Soon it will just be a stadium of drunken idiots and speedway would alienate the families wishing to attend. I guess its the same old case of any reason to drink, id love to be able to go to teams champs, i could certainly enjoy it without alcohol but i dont want to be confronted by these kinds of people so i stay away, you may say ohwell what ever but then speedway as a whole loses out on the new comers that i might bring etc all so these kinds of people can get trashed. When did it become acceptable to be completely drunk, abusive and genrally offencive in public?

Yup violence is the way to solve everything, ask all the fallen dictators around the world. I go to Teams champs, unfortunately this year I have to miss it due to other things that have happened. I ahve a few beers with the guys I catch up with at most meetings we get too around the place. I guess we are lucky we sit in the front row of the stand and yell scream and spill drinks etc on no one as there is no one in front of us. Want respect then show some yourself and not resort to violence. A friendly word goes a lot further if you ask me. To me you are just as bad the guys who are drinking and yahooing etc, they market Teams as the 7s of Speedway, well hello what happens at the 7s?? what happens at cricket matches (bar the black caps failing miserably)?? People have a few drinks and get into the event, some are good drunks some are bad. Deal with it like everyone else. Fists are for people who cant use there brains

Ive been to every track apart from Wellington in the North Island. So I now hope you think im not a drunk. OK NOW, Just because im wanting a air horn refill doesnt put me in a drunk and foul behaviour group. Do you think everyone with a air horn is bad behaving?
