As a few of the teams are only best guesses, can I suggest that Wanganui will look like this:-
56V Kerry Podjursky (hopefully in the new Heibner tank). 5V Darryl Taylor 99V Richard Watkins 59V Ian Barron 51V Dion Mooney (in the Doyle/Cooper car). 6th Driver - Scott Duncan.
Juts a guess.

That will do for now Flying the V. Thanx
I am assuming you are in the know and won't be too far off.
I am trying to move away from best guessing and get something close to definate even if it is an "at this stage" list

Hi,
An update on the kings situation.
Unfortunately, we planned on having a full race season, and getting the team on track early, with the possibility of a teams race practice to help us get ready. I blew the engine in our new car in our first meeting, and as such will be out for the rest of the season while we rebuild, sadly that means I can only attend as a reserve driver. Brad hasn't raced too much so far in his new Rees car due to work commitments but will be leading the charge this season. Mytty will be back in his Gordge SVO beast, albeit in a bit different spec , temporarily reverting to a manual setup for this event. Ryan Johnson will pilot the car driven by Kerry Remnant over the past few seasons. Ryan was an original Kings member in our first outing at Palmy a few years back now.
The other 2 car/driver combos may turn a few heads but I need to wait until everything is confirmed 100%. Should know by tomorrow night.
The team is focussed on getting thru to the second night of racing. We have the drivers and cars to do it, so we hope to get the support aswell to encourage us thru.
Thanks- Rick Taylor

If I think there is doubt I wont add to the teams.

The Eagles team has been confirmed!!! Read it on the Woodford glen site. WHAT A TEAM!!!!!
Team is, Malcom Ngatai, Matt Ngatai, Murray Greig, Nick Selfe, Dennis Andreassend, Trevor Mason.
There is no mention of which cars are being used or which one of this talented bunch is the spare driver, i would assume they will all be in there normal cars. GO THE EAGLES!!!! ;D

Good strong team,no so called flyers like Penn(he won't hit),Ngatai(he will)etc, but all can block or fly,and if(big if)the race is close and tough these guys can do it,only hope is if say cars of opposition get into 1,2,3 formation they stop and block, sadly last few years they have the original blocker doing that while rest chase.

6th driver for Palmy is Andy McCabe. Yet now with the hit to Scotty Miers the whole line up could change. McCabe will most likely stay 6th driver because it is harder to find someone that will fit into all the cars and that all drivers are happy to have 6th man driving them. So the hunt is on for the 5th driver!!?? Does Scotts son have what it takes?? Or someone like Humphries? Interesting!!

Don't know why people keep putting Humphries in as a replacement Panther when he's confirmed as Mustang. A lot of people think that the Mustangs are a stepping stone to the Panthers, but they are a team in their own right and pretty loyal to that team, in fact would like nothing better than to come up against the Panthers.

Bravo Stevo ... we have said the same thing for years
The Mustangs are team of their own, and the Panthers always seem to struggle against them

I see that Mark Taylor is in the British Lions, Is this the Same Mark Taylor who drives stockcar 84d Mark Taylor used to drive Brisca F1,then when his son started racing he very rarely got out on track(mainly cos Spencer, his son used his car). The Taylor family have now emigrated to NZ,but i'm not quite sure how much superstock driving Mark has actually done while he's been there. I believe Chris Brocksopp raced at the 248's last weekend so wouldn't be surprised if he raced for the Lions.

The Warriors have some changes. The engine is not ready for the tank so there will be no KP & Richard Watkins has had no luck with the 99V so will not have the car ready.
The final five therefore are:-
Darryl Taylor Dion Mooney Ian Barron Scott Duncan Bevan Humphrey
At a guess 6th driver could be Richard Watkins

Shame he couldn't lease the Cunningham tank since he is the Tiger's 6th driver this year
