Today I got to meet some good guys, Dougal Mcclimont and Ted from Christchurch who drove about 150 miles further up the Island than they needed to just to say g'day and use the BombsAway waterblaster on their way to represent Canterbury at the NZ Saloon Champs in Wellington. Lucky for them the waterblaster decided to go. Being from Palmy I hardly ever get to see saloons up close and it was interesting to see how the 10C car was made up, and how it came apart too. The motor has plenty of grunt without having had heaps of money spent on it, the 302 block is out of a road car (F150), the sump was once on a Kihikihi Superstock. Good luck at the NZ Champs Dougal & Ted, wish I had my camera with me today, not just my cellphone to take a better pic. ha ha, I just noticed that Camry half-pie on it's side in the backgrand and remembered what a bastard of a job it is to get the power steering pump out of one. Thanks for your help today Guppy best of luck with your new stockcar.
