Good to see the Silver Bullet will be back at the teams champs this year. Does anyone know which car competing this year will have done the most teams champs? The Bullet must be up there with at least a dozen appearances. Keep threads on subject please people

Go the silver Bullet ...and Best of Luck to Steve and the crew going vegetarian now? Im not too sure but i think Dave Roigards and Matt Ngatais cars may have been around a while. I am not too up with which cars which but a few of the nearly ran guys would have older cars too, Headington, Wayne Whittaker, Herbie etc

The first car that Tony Mac built in 1977 will be possibly going for a run with the Classic Stockcars on Saturday night. Tony had contracted to Wanganui and raced for the Warriors in the 1982 Teams Champs and in the race against the Wildcats was rolled 3 times by Brian McPhee, the current Wellington promoter.
He raced this stockcar again in the 1983 Teams Champs for the Wildcats and again was rolled but this time the car burst into a raging inferno and it was the quality race suit that saved him from serious burn injuries.
He was probably the only driver wearing proper race overalls at that time.
