You know what annoys me? Commentators etc always seem to dismiss any car from Stratford. Well....

The crazy thing is nicholls didn't need to move that far ahead as he was miles ahead. Pretty bs ruling if you ask me. Guess nelson will come out firing in the next one

Last night they were backing cars into injured drivers and tonight they are not bothering and dropping DQ's. Dumb... Its not like he hit after the reds were on like Palmy did.

Hey the rules say you have to stop when the reds come on. its not like he moved forward a meter or two he did 3/4 of a lap.

The part is the most BS is that Nicholls had actually finished the race when the reds came on, he would of thought the reds were for the race finish and just cruised around to pick up the flag.
That is one balls up of a call from the refs!! GO THE SCRAPPERS!!

If the race is finished the yellow lights flash, so its quite simple the reds were on so he should have stopped.

I thought red meant stop, no matter what?
Don't the yellows come on when all cars are over the line?
REds can come on when some cars have finished if there is an injured driver etc/

am a.palmy supporter and am only going by what i have heard on here...... my one question is does the rule state that the stop under reds does not apply if you have passed under checkered because if it doesnt then the point of checkered flag being shown to nicholls is null and void and will also ask why havent tigers protested or have they

(c) A race is not finished until the chequered flag is displayed, regardless of the number of laps run. (e) Once the amber lights are shown under a chequered flag, all racing is over. Competitors are then to return to the pits at a safe speed.
