I've spent long enough in a lapscorers box listening to the intercom with the referees to know how moving under reds is dealt with. At Wanganui, we are continually shifting cars back under reds while the race is on. With the eyes of the lapscorers, the referees & the flag marshals we deal with it during the race. I must say that this is the first time I have heard of this being dealt with after the race has finished. If the referees were on to it, then they would've shifted Nicholls back during the race. If this is the new approach to moving under red lights then entire fields of cars will be DQ'd upon appeal. This seems very odd.

Was there a protest from Stratford or was this the officials call only?

What happened in the wangas v gb race GB won. Wangas fronted with 3, and then rolled a Pom at the start so they were even, but the GB leader kepy eluding the Wanganui drivers to get the win. Higgins said that the disqualification incident happened at the start of the Tigers race???

Nelson are hammering the Rebels. Hewson was running well, but he got taken to the wall by Ewers and stuck on his bonnet. The 3 other Rebels still were all trying to block, but Horse got into a tussle with 2 Nelson cars and got rolled into Hewson!!

they are lucky that could have been very very nasty for Dale Ewers. Nelson win for Third place! The infringement for Brett Nicholls in the race he was disqualified in was actually for a lap 1 turn 1 incident where he apparently passed alot of cars with wheels on the grass.

4Palmy cars going after putting one Stratty car up the wall first corner, brutally rolling another, and then smashing the wheel off Ogle, and now the reds come on for Boulton who got smashed up the wall and caught on fire.. Stormers aint lookin too flash with only a 3 wheeled Ogle left.
