Whilst they may not have made the Tier 1 finals this year, I still think that they did a fantastic job all weekend. They raced as a team and as things changed throughout a race they seemed to be able to adapt pretty well and change their game plan accordingly. In teams racing there is a lot of luck involved and and it was only through a few things not working out for them that prevented them progressing further. Tony Mac has done a magnificent job turning them from what some saw as a novelty team into real contenders and for that he needs to be congratulated. I think the whole event is richer for their involvement and long may they keep coming back. Talk over the weekend of Dutch and US interest in the event can only add to the truly international flavour of the weekend. With NZ teams struggling to make the numbers there is room for more international involvement. GB have laid the foundation for it to happen. Again well done GB, look forward to your return next year.
