I really dont care either way, but why remove it from the forum, obviously people have an opinion and we are here to voice our opinions?? nothing wrong with doing this ..... unless their is something to hide?

I even posted a balanced, logical comment there suggesting the "corruption" theory was way off and unnecessary.

Suggestions of corruption have a difficult legal standing Hemi...and, in some unusual cases, come back to bite the forum that is hosting them. I'm sure none of us wish anything like that on our favourite speedway site or Mr Macgor. |

completely understand that and respect where you are coming from, but there is a significant difference between acusing someone of corruption and merely suggesting corruption has occurred ...... I am sure no malace was meant by the initial thread started.

Careful Psycho - Barry has a large number of years involved in a number of forms of media and speedway. He will be far more au fait with what constitutes a post that breeds trouble and one that is purely opinion-based...and is intelligent enough to know the difference. |

enough said, its obviosly a very touchy issue - made more interesting by those that choose to shut it out rather than just shrug it off?

i would like to think so, but lets not get caught up in a personal s**t slinging match, as this is not what i am getting at, for the record i dont support any of the teams that were represented in any of the semi's/finals, i was merely voicing an opinion on a topic that I thought was somewhat interesting after watching the actual race and reading the immediate feedback.

i have been going for 28 years, wost decision i seen, There's nothing wrong with criticizing the decision, we see bad decisions is sport all the time, but what was alleged was a little OTT in my opinion. I'm not sure the decision to relegate the semi-final winner was based on one infringement alone (which is what people have been viewing today). I never got a chance to check it out last night, but was told by somebody from within SNZ that the race winner had crossed the pole line on several other occasions as well. And then there was the red light incident at the end. So perhaps the sum-total of the incidents = a 4 spot relegation? I don't know, but if I can find out I'll post the answer on here to end at least some of the speculation. Meantime, as somebody pointed out in another thread, the Tigers were accepting of their fate and got on with things like the sportsmen they are (and sports-lady in team manager Sandra's case) |
