Be great if Chris Allen could find his old Team Green Stockcar bodies somewhere & then a selection of cars to put them on. Now that would be great to see "Team Green" on the track again.

There must at least one driver each from Rotorua, Huntly, Statford, Wanganui, Palmerston North, Napier that would like to teams race but never gets a chance. Get these guys together into a team so they can prove themselves. Heck, there must be at least another 6 guys at Palmy that could form a team with their car count. Yea im sure Andy McCabe is wanting to finaly get in a teams race. He would be keen as by the looks of things Scott Joblin is in the team for this event. Andy Andy Andy, poor Andy. Didnt even get a run at palmy even though they had a very sad looking 8p driver.

Interesting that Kihikihi has decided that it's better to have Dion Mooney driving for them than trying to put them up the wall and over!

Think you might have to be patient because a lot will depend on how many teams enter . the whole format of the two nights will hinge around that.

fair enough Macgor. patience is a virtue I know. Heres hoping WP drop the junior classes to create a premier meeting, streetstox, drop em, charge more, ministox, drop em, charge more, minisprints just drop em. superstox, super saloons, stockcars, mods, ( and I would like to see bikes) a premier meeting.
Friday night 8 teams races, 4 saloon races, 3 x front, middle, and rear then 1 x grand final 4 mod races 3 x front, middle and rear then 1 x grand final 16 races, heaps enough for night one
Saturday Night same format as friday. 8 x teams races 4 x super saloon races front, middle, and rear, then grand final 3.x stockcar races (GOLDEN OLDIES) 4 x mod races " 3x front middle and rear then 1x grand final TOTAL 19 RACES ( Thats plenty for night two)
classes can be juggled round a bit but this is a cool evening or two at the park as far as im concerned.
With no other tracks running on friday night surely theres plenty of stocks who would race in a big meeting.(from the upper nth island).
Get porrys guys there for some racing on saturday night.
Aint it a shame that ridiculous bike track is still there and hasnt been upgraded to a kihikihi style track, theres your missing class. Shame also they havent grabbed v8 production stocks (left turn only) or production saloons, theres another two classes that could be huge in Auckland as regional classes and would be heaps more fun to watch at prem meetings as a fill in class than any "mini" class or 6 or 7 streetstocks.
as opinionated as ever Z

You cant run 8 Big Wheel events on night two what about the track?

Thats good to hear Marty. We are also looking at getting a 1 hour Doco Filmed of the event for TV3. Anyone interested in becoming a sponsor/character in the Doco we have guaranteed airtime. This includes any drivers who may want to promote their business/sport in this Doco can also contact me. We are filming a Doco of the NZ SUPER Mods and Dirt Cup for TV3 this weekend and next to air around March/April. (Thanks to Manurewa Recycling, CSL Container Sales and Leasing, Fastening Solutions, and Waikaraka Park Family Speedway) Dion Is this doco still going ahead??? As I was thinking about coming up for the weekend with some in car cameras.

There are a whole lot of people working hard on this one. You don't have to expalin to us the importance of this meeting to WP and Speedway in NZ. Support next weekend, its gunna be a Goodie.
Ran out of time for the Doco unfortunately, maybe next year.
We would love to see Trevor racing in Auckland teams.

Hopefully Dion may see this post, hey, I'll contact him and let him know about it, and he can check it out and confirm things for you ricco.
