Another Jolly Olly shed update sans typing. So heres another youtube up of the R90 Mobile phone - a base model so excuse the quality. and a closer look at the broken bits Olly talks about in the update that prevented him from finishing Race 3. What a time for the loyal HQ to break after 3 years of faithfull service! This is how the drive shaft came out of the car with a little surprise in the front - thats the main shaft off the back of the gearbox that broke off in the drive shaft. The boys had rebuilt the box in the offseason, and will repair this boo boo, and have this basically brand new gearbox, remote cable shifter, and bellhousing up for grabs - see the update for an update on the plans for the offseason. Great combo, I've never heard any one else hold it flat when shifting between gears haha. p.s IS it the holden shirt, or the HOlden box behind the holden motor thats the giveaway about what sort of vehicle he drives? Just a shame the box couldn;t be bothered holden together haha

Haha thanks towbar.
The new landcruiser gearbox will have to work really good to beat the current HQ set up - that seems to work like a dream for olly with the shifter set up he has. He picks up places after every red light with his fast shifts in the HQ. Will be interesting to see how the landcruiser will compare.

I also think the tank might have a little more pace than its given credit for - I've seen the lap times, so you can't fool me clevo haha. DId anyone say West Coast CHamp?? kaaaBOOM go the grizzlies, let them ride again!

whos names r in for the team? ONly have a hand full keen to teams race (about 4) and a smaller number(3) really keen to head up to PN and have a shot at the NZ teams title at the home of stockcar racing at PN International Speedway. Will ask around at westport and see if any guys are keen up there - we probably need to organise a proper meeting in Greymouth as well, and spread the word around properly rather than just as a passing comment on here. Bomba is keen to get together sooner rather than later, so will have to get organised for a friday up at his house. Nelson are keen as mustard to do a home and away deal real early in the season, so we can all get a practice before the big teams event, and too see if we are all up to it. Hopefullyw e havn;t missed out on that, as they wanted an answer a while ago. Just need to get some commitment from those who are interested. So far there has been murmurings, but no one really has come foward, and hate asking because you start to get the favouritism call, and thats no what this is about. so, after the big speil, anyone interested in teams racing for the Greymouth Grizzlies let us know. cheers

Let me know when u have a meeting about this, id like 2 be there, to see it all unfold. for sure dude - we want the meeting to be open to anyone who is interested in racing, pitcrewing, supporting, and sponsoring the team. The more interest we can get in reforming the grizzilies, the more momentum we can get, and the more likely we can get the team together. I've only done two teams races, and the experiance definitly made me a better driver. Every other race had less action, all the hits felt heaps smaller afterwards, and nothing was a worry after the excitement of a teams race. I want another crack at that, with any luck! This offseason I hope to get all the spares for the car i need to hopefully get ready for a decent shot at it.

I'm always the optimist when it comes to racing, but even I have to admit the weather forecast looks pretty darned terrible for this weekend. I think the plan to stay at the pub may have been a good one! at least the forecast has it raining in westport today, and I'm hoping its not, proving that the forecast will hopefully be incorrect!!! www.metservice.com/towns-cities/westportregardless of the weather forecast, we will be on the way tomorrow, with a few from GM in the convoy A big thanks to Hahn Logging for the support this year, and the vehicle to tow up this weekend. WE can;t do it without our sponsors, so if you have some good blocks of trees that need milling, clearing, or roads put in to get to them, or sections cleared after they've come down, give these guys a call - Hahn Logging will get the job done. ANd no doubt Hahn racing will be the first to put me up the bank knowing the DOc, haha. See you in westport tomorrow, hope you can greensheet us on the trailer if we arrive at 11am!
