Will be a great weekend alright. I see Huntly Speedway has a "V8s Promotions Spectacular" pencilled in on their calendar (refer website) for 17th April .... that should definitely be worth a look. All in all...can't wait for the mighty V8s to return. Can't get enough! Go the HOLDENS

Well streetiesrule,
been to Pukekohe the last 6/7 odd years with a few of the boys and looking at either Hamilton next year or fly in for Bathurst then a couple of weeks holiday on the sunny Gold Coast hanging (perving) around till the Grand Prix then flying home (if they let us back on the plane, hic!!)
Be a shame to miss the NZ leg of the championship, but for a street race, why not go to where its already established, hook on Bathurst, a bit of a holiday, leave the missuses at home fellas, all for the same sort of money!! (Or am I just being cheap?)
Now, how does that clash with Easter next year??

Well Mr Corvette Racer cheap may be the wrong word lol do u not no any girls into V8's Personally I think Hamilton is going to go off, Puke was always highlighted as one of the best motorsport events of the speedway season but unfortunately never made it up there (bugga it all) and figure that its betta to put our coin first & foremost towards cementing the future of top level v8's racing in NZ!!! Not to say that Bathurst isn't fantastic but a certain superstock fella I know has a pretty awesome set up including a wall so big it was like being there (well if you haven't actually been there it was pretty darn good ) so when the FORDS are roaring down Conrad straight I don't think I'll regret my decision....................... Then again if you're shouting......................... I'm in lol

I was lucky to pick up lots of Hamilton 400 tickets yesterday. Joined the line at 9.30am and after 6.25 hours standing in the wind and rain had the tickets. Come Sunday it is Sunny if only it had been yesterday. I heard the average sale was about $2000 worth. Should be a great weekend.

We were there at around 8am and got our $2000 worth of tickets after 4 1/2 hours. Took ages to get to front to buy tickets. The line went for a good couple of hundred metres when we were leaving so imagine heaps were sold.
They are for sale till next saturday at the counters only with a form from the Waikato Times. Go on sale to general public on 27th, though with resource consent limiting people allowed in imagine there will only be a few tickets left by then.
Chiefs and Crusaders on Friday night. Concerts saturday and sunday nights, things will rock.

Went to get tickets last night for V8's only odd seat left in Grandstands front straight, and end of high street, the rest already sold out. apparently already sold over 88000 tickets won't be much for rest of NZ,those wanting to come will need to get in quick

yes the scalpers are in allready .we no of tickets being brought by people that have no intention of going .also murmurs off lack of grandstands as there are heaps of places around the circut. for more stands that are not sutiable for ground veiwng. teething problems .capacity for 55.000 people can see a lock out. if some of these idiots on the planing committe are not booted out .the man that got us the v8s has resigned allready with no further input .& if weve sold 88000 thousand tickets were in trouble allready as public tickets not on sale yet .try 8000 ;D
