Great to hear about the happenings at Westport. Its been a while since Ive seen some Westport cars competing in the SNZ Championship circuit, the last I remember were Neil Avery and Ducks Devouski (Spelling?) in the Super Saloons.
If they can get a stong base of Stockcars that would certainly play a huge part in moving the club forward.

Ross, Is the wall any good for Stockcar racing at Westport?? I remember years ago the wall fell to bits with the constant pummelling it got one Queens Burpday Weekend and the guys were told to stop firing cars into the hole. There hasnt been a huge amount of Stockcar action at Westport over the years but I assume that the wall will hold up when the Stockcars come to play!! I agree it will be a great thing for both Greymouth and Westport for the class to take off as it can only do the sport in general alot of good on the Coast. I for one will be there supporting the class at both those tracks. Nelson WILL follow eventually as the class has the support here but at present not the real numbers to back it up. Is only a matter of time and the Stockcar flood gates will open in the Top of the South IMHO
