now could anyone tell me if any teams or drivers are going to put up a fight at the teams champs this season . as they have only been beat once by kihikihi in the last 2 years . i myself would love to see the rebels win a few but really i think waikato could be a better chance with a great fan base in palmy would that be wicked.... any thoughts anyone
as for the single championships well i hope everyone not going let them run away with them as well .....lolololo

An indication off just how the Teams Champs may go this season will be when the Nelson Tigers travel north for their teams race against the Panthers in early December. It would also be good to see Rotorua and Waikato get in some teams practice before coming back to Palmy this year, they both showed saddly poor form last season,we all hope that they both can fight back ! And off course, dont write off Wanganui either!

simple anwser is NO 2 weeks out from nzs pfft panthers wont care 1 2 3 nz and 3 x nz teams champs aucks and palmy, has any team done that I know it wont affect Palmy because they have a huge pool of talent and alot of drivers with alot of money. I was more meaning smaller Superstock tracks like B, H, K, A and V which may lose a driver or 2 that would prefer to make sure the car is sound for NZ's, thus making them not as much of a threat to Palmy.

I think overall the quality of the other teams will be closer to Palmy this year but Palmy should still be the strongest.
The Waikato Wanderers will be stronger thanks to the return of Scott Redfern who missed last years teams champs after injury at the 240's. While Drabble, Wade and Roigard are Teams Champs old hands now and very esperienced racers. I guess they will loose Penn with the car for sale and the "H" having been removed from the car, but 23H Lance Ashton will be a worthy replacement.
Nelson will as always be strong while Christchurch will have equipment on par with the best with Leach in the Podjursky Tank, and Ngatai in his New Gordge. I think it would be cool if Campbell McManaway raced for the Eagles in the ex Geoff James Gordge but I guess he will register to Invercargill.
Will be interesting to see what kind of team Rotorua put together. Loosing Ashby from the Team will hurt them badly. But if they can talk the likes of 93R Gary Hunter, 99R Mark Decke, 192R Kyle Fraser and 337R Darcy Hunter into Teams racing for them then they will have a very potent team.
Im sure Kihikihi would be keen to repeat their defeat of the Panthers but how well they do will be very dependent on how early they can get on track. A massive lack of track time hurt them badly last season.
Personally Im hoping Stratford will be stronger too, they possibly need a car with speed to run so hopefully 282S Phil Ogle or 15S Steve Behl can be talked into teams racing.

Will be interesting to see who is included in the Wanganui team this season with a few new drivers ( or new old drivers returning). Palmy may start as favourites but anything can happen on the day. I predict one of the following 4 will put an end to the Panthers run this season. Hawkeyes Glen Eagles Tigers Warriors
