From the LATEST Speedway NZ Newsletter ... STREETSTOCK CARBURETTORSA dispensation from Rule T13-1-27(c) has been granted to Streetstock drivers until the 2013 AGM. T13-1-27(c)Fuel injected engine may be run minus injection but must be fitted with a carburettor from a previous carburettor model - single or two barrel. The intent of this rule when passed was to allow older model carburettors to be fitted to modern engines, but the wording doesn’t accurately reflect the minor modifications that are necessary to fit the carburettor to the manifold, and the “no modifications” aspect of clause T13-1-1(a). This allows two mounting holes on an EA manifold to be modified to enable the XE or XF carburettor to fit. www.speedway.co.nz/pdf/Directors%20Meetings/SNZ%20Update%20-%20Dec%202011.pdf
