I see the support classes for the NZs superstocks 1st nights racing are MiniStocks Production Saloons (http://www.huntlyspeedway.co.nz/Calendar.cfm) No disrespect to these 2 classes but you would think they would have something more exciting for the spectators to watch on such a huge meeting other than some old Honda's etc racing around circles. But lets hope the supers turn on a good nights racing

So, looking at it like that, the Ministocks and Production Saloons are bonus classes.

I think it's reasonable for a qualifying night , would have felt different if it was for finals night. Gives time between heats/groups for working out points, getting hotdogs etc.

A round of the SSCAR Series will be run aswel as Stockcars and a Stockcar Teams race between the Waikato Raiders and the Wanganui Vulcans. Including the Tier 1 and tier 2 championships, and at $25 a head i think that is quite fair.

Will be interesting to see how they prepare a night 2 track for Superstocks and Super Saloons but at least they are trying to put on a show for the fans.
As for night 1, it would look a whole lot better if they took out one of Ministocks/Productions Saloons and ran Stockcars.

So you are proposing no stock cars on night two and runnig the class you drop from night one? If not then you have no idea about how a club runs. A club supports all its members!

I'd run Stockcars both nights.
The running of Ministocks and Productions on night 1 of the NZ Midget Title did not produce a 10/10 track on night two (it was more of a 6 or 7/10) but I'm looking forward to a superior track this time around.

you have no real idea, stocks on friday would make track not good for sat, Bit of a suggestion to you Percy, And this is not a dig or anything, But why not go introduce yourself to Red when you at huntly, or for that fact even Stan at rotorua, and have a genuine disscussion about track prep, maybe even spend some of the night out in water truck,, you might get a bit more of an understanding about track prep for certain meetings and classes, two nights over one, If you cant do it on a sat , Red generally there for three nights before race night doing track, I can tell you from a personal level that what i learned over the past couple of years really opened my eyes, and i am real dissapointed with my self that i have not been able to give the time i have done in the past, ,but due to work commitments it been real hard to, but am hoping i can get back to trying to do my bit if im alowed to,
But once again i suggest you ask the people that do make these decsions as there wisdom and knowledge invaluable and they take it very hard when a track not up to the standards they stive for

Can't do it on night #1 Tankfan, we might wreck the track for the real drivers.
