They hype is gone, the championship has been run, drivers with many stories to tell, injuries and bruises no doubt, spectators like us with views (not always well received) the highs and lows... give us your overview of the weekend. Here's mine.. The HIGH's.... - A great second nights entertainment from all classes and racers. - Congratulations to all 26 qualifyers but of course many congratulations to Joe Faram, Kerry Humphrey and Shane Penn , now 1, 2 & 3 NZ for the next 12 months. - Good hard, fast racing, very entertaining, thanks - Great to see no major injuries from the second nights racing. - Good value for $$'s and Great Food at the track. - Other than the winners, drivers who impressed were, Asher Rees (most definately will be a great Tank Commander), Jack Miers (guaranteed he will feature in the years to come, pleasure to watch him peddle the ex-Hickey machine). The LOW's - Friday's rainout (but hey at least the meeting was able to run in the same weekend. - Major injury to a driver. - The long qualifying night - Support races on qualifying night. Thanks to all the drivers/crews/support people/Waikato Club and all the helpers who put on this event, it is a huge task to undertake with unknown rewards at the end of it. Many Thanks.
