Aslong as its better then last year when if your bottle was not sealed (ie was already open) then it HAD to be tipped out. That included baby milk and water.
So moral is dont open your water bottle. i guess that means you have to buy a new water bottle aswell.

Yes the reasoning behind it is understood. Was more a friendly warning about what happened to us last year so people dont get caught out

over the years of teams champs my uncle has managed to sneak alcohol in and has not been caught yet but legally people can't bring their own alcohol in as you will have to buy it at the track but hey palmy security is hopeless

The more they can prevent the paying public from bringing into the event , the more products they can sell inside . Theres only one reason for it . More money in Robertsons pocket . Has always been the case . Security are all on a power trip and get one hell of a buzz out of going through ladys purses from what i have seen. Every year a few fans would sneak a couple of beach balls in and blow them up . Kept everyone entertained bouncing them around the grandstand before racing . Was pretty sad to see security confiscate them. For what reason They are totally arrogant and have very poor people skills.

I remember that no1speedwayfan . And the security got booed out of the stands.
The alcohol rules are classic . NO ALCOHOL and i guess you wouldnt be allowed to enter if you were drunk. But you can buy as much of ours as you can drink , get drunk and abuse anybody you like with very little chance security will bat an eyelid.

I don't see why people complain that you can't take your own alcohol in. Can you take your own in to a pub or any other licensed venue? No. Same deal for PN Speedway

Sorry for the above I wanted to quote and reply.
What a load of round things! Highrevs have you ever raced? having a beach ball between racing is fine but if someone let it loose during a race that would be a huge driver distraction bouncing around in the crowd. Good on security for taking them away.
I don't think Bruce gives a rats arse about people bringing in food but people leave there rubbish behind when they do so he has to pay to clean it up and that's not fair is.
Hes not stopping you bringing in Sammy's and chippies for the kids is he.
As for open drinks try getting an open drink into any licensed premises with security on the door it's not going to happen.
Plus he has to give your caterers that are there every week big or small meeting a Chance to make a buck! bringing in KFC or alike isn't fair on them.
