I beleive that this years Palmy Teams is building up to b the makings of the best yet cos after all there is no really week team look at the THE TTL HIRE WOODFORD GLEN EAGLES for example Nigel Anderton ex Cougar he almost pulled off a win for the Otago Cougars against the Mighty Hawkeyes,Peter Fields did bloody well against The Nelson Tigers been around since Woodford Glen opened and he absolutly loves the sport Matt Ngatai brother of Malcolm Ngatai all most pulled off victory for the 2005 Glen Eagles wat a year that was up in Palmy against the manawatu mustangs and in that Mustangs team was another Glen Eagle for this weekend Keven Roberts everybody knows wat he is capable of and last but not least ex stratford scrapper now racing out of Paradise Valley Raceway Kyle Stove and anyway the scene is set The Weather even sounds awesome and i beleive this year won,t be the year of the Panther i honestly think they won,t be there night 2 and the Final will be Hawkeyes V Tigers

I really wish the Glen Eagles alot of success. Years like last year they put in a huge effort with no results and it seems to have put off alot of those guys that put in the effort. It is frustrating to see no Malcolm Ngatai on the team, especially since he is racing on the Sunday in the non qualifiers, but i hope the boys show him they dont need him on the team (again) this year and garner some good results.

Guess its up to Mal Ngatai himself if he wants to teams race , but a bit rough on the Glen Eagles if his car is actually going to race in Palmy as well. Maybe the Glen Eagles could end up racing in the consolations on Sunday as well . That could be interesting. Hoping for a good result from the ChCh Boys Malcolm made it clear from way before the start of this season his plans were to compete in events in the North Island eg NZ's, 240's, 248's, NI champs etc & this season teams racing was not on the agenda. I cant see any repercussions at all - be a bit silly if there was - certainly be considered poor sportsmanship. Good luck to the Woodford Glen Eagles, hope they do well!!!
