Here is a thought.... Move the start finish line to in front of the grandstand. I still find it incredible that the "action" like start / finish, presentations, are done on the opposite side to the largest grandstand.
Does that sound unusual to anyone else?

Thanks for providing such fantastic entertainment....
The results are one thing...but you must all admire the awesome atmosphere that this TOTALLY UNIQUE meeting unprecedented in any NZ Sport.. provides !!!!
Its great to be alive to witness this weekends dramas

Why aren't the presentations done in front of the grand stand where the biggest group of fans are sitting? Also why didnt the monster truck squash the BMW in front of the grand stand? The presentations are done at the start finish line for a number of reasons I think. Tradition? Maybe in the old days there was a mic on a chord passed through the fence there? But today the main camera that feed the big screen is up above the start/finish point, so that's probably the single biggest reason....

Does that sound unusual to anyone else? to much crowd fighting in the Grandstand, don't really deserve it. Start finish line may be where it is so the flag man can make eye contact with the control tower, makes sence.
