Scrappers pulled out was 10 teams Oh really? The word on the street said the promotion was only ever planning for it to be either 8 or 9 teams, 10 was never mentioned. Mind you, those ARE the streets of South Auckland  |

Where is the Kihikihi Kings, didn't they have a team ready for PN and got turned down by the promoter on air at team draw.Thought they would of ventured up the highway to WP.

Last season, Wanganui and Kihikihi were both depleted and joined forces to get the Kings to the track for Waikaraka Teams, and this year, they will do similar but under the Wanganui banner. The 2 Ridland cars only have to venture around the corner to be at WP. |

Well it sounds like a good couple of nights entertainment ,with a old but nice commentator or two .
No doubt Bruce has tried his best in arranging these teams to the nationals ,well i hope they still call it that .
It will be good to see all the Old faces ,cemmentary bend committee,and the house of the twisted faces as well .
Bring it on .Go the TiGERS

It may not need a bye.. im betting first night is a 3 group system with the winner of each group going through with perhaps either next highest points, or a teams race to establish 4th qualifier. |

Why on earth would any team get a bye? We have seen a number of times at teams meetings in recent years how easy it is to run a format without groups and with an odd number of teams. Would be a safe bet to say this meeting will run a similar format with the top four points scorers through to the semifinals and probably second tier semis as well.

Man i cant wait for this. Having never been to WP i was wondering if there was parking at the speedway? And also, how early would you recommend getting there?

Plenty of parking ,if you get there early enough ,4,to 5 ,as a first timer ,i would recomend you get there early ,as nielson st has a high volume of traffic moving in the latter part of the afternoon .just google it , theres some palm trees in the front of the carpark and if you arrive late head down lower alfred st and park on the green belt area .
