i was very impressed with kevin roberts Yeah, Keven was good, and it was a shame and real gamechanger when he went up in smoke. I do think Steiny was better tho, he seemed to be purposely taking hits to draw heat off his runners, and then turning them around on the attackers.

I'll take 6w Dale Robertson as man of the night.
A brilliant read in the opening race against Wanganui to jump out from the back of the grid into a running role. Was a lap in front when he performed a houdini act when lined up by 99v Ron Tye which ultimately led to Tye being rolled.
Second race against the Tigers and off the back again and into a block role this time. Was an absolute wall. Was he even spun the entire race? He always seemed to be there with one or two Nelson cars behind him. His blocking gave 5w Allan Levien a chance to win, one which he ultimately couldn't take but he put his team in with a chance to win against one of the premier teams in the country. In the end it was enough to qualify his team for the semi-finals.
