I guess the irony of this one is that the race was stopped due to a "false" start (something pretty obvious), but with everything that went on after that to get to the "overall winner" i.e. the 3rd race and the "run-off", why on earth were those "obvious" and far more dangerous aspects not pulled up?
It was a great days racing but this put a dampner on the whole event IMO and left many in the crowd with a bitter taste in their mouths.
Not alone here though, it has happened in many of the events I have watched recently. The law gets laid down at the outset, a rule gets broken early on and is pounced on and from there on in, very little is pulled up or attended too appropriately

To be honest, I think the donuts at the end of the "run-off" summed up the control or lack thereof of 67 on the day.
A little too close for comfort...

I have watched and rewtached this video (race 3).
The reason for the "run off" was due to a supposed corner cut by 97 - I am buggered if I can see it - certainly nothing worse than anything else shown on there.
What happened to the rule that when you runoff into the in field you join the back of the pack??
Hhmmm...
