The car you are talking about is the old wedge chassis{70's era} if info i've been given is correct. Was narrowed by Gordge Engineering from a Camaro to Corvette and is now the 96A Jennings car. The car Porry mentions is one of his old Rovers. May be wrong on all accounts, info given is not always correct but this is how it was told to me.

UM the old wedge car was from a guy from Rotorua called Fonzie who sponsored it to Blondie. He run it for a couple of seasons and then a Gordge car was built to replace it as it wasnt a very modern. Old slow!!!!! Blondie run that chassis (Gordge Chassis) for a season or 2 before he retired from racing. That car sat in a shed for a few seasons before it was sold to Lance Jennings by Nigel Livermore (his current car) The old wedge I believe was cut up I would have to confirm that. Didnt Nigel Livermore sponsor Blondie at meeanne when Shane Maaka won the Nz title there ? Also he ran that car at wacky park a few times with Lance in it and baypark ,i thought also it had some chassis modifications done by race works ,but stand to be corrected The car you are talking about is the old wedge chassis{70's era} if info i've been given is correct. Thanks Macgor. This is how I remember him as I was too young to see him in his rovers.
