Just add Holland, Australia and the United States Wasn't there a rumor a couple of years ago that the Dutch were looking at putting a team together? As for the US, just put Ricky Logan, Jonathon Allard, Craig Dollansky, Donny Shotz and Peter Murphy in some borrowed Supers (I'm sure Pete Rees and Scott Meirs have enough spares between them!) and let them loose. And I don't think those soft Aussies could handle the hard hitting of Teams racing! Allard, Logan, Kyle Larson and Kevin Swindell for starters; the first to have raced them, the second two expressed they were keen. I'm sure they'd quickly change their minds ;D

make seeded teams 1 4 7 10 The seeded teams in a 13 team format will be 1, 4, 7 and 10. Team 12 will meet teams 11 & 13, all non-seed. When you have an uneven draw like that, you're always going to get a slight imbalance. It's impossible not to. With an 11 team draw you'll have 1 unseeded team meeting 2 seeded teams, all of the others meeting 1 seed and 1 non-seed. With an 13 team draw you'll have 1 unseeded team meeting 2 non-seeded teams, all of the others meeting 1 seed and 1 non-seed. It's only a perceived advantage however, as a couple of years back the Panthers were not a seeded team so any pre-conceived "distinct advantage" was gooooone. You could always have the have the 5th place team for the previous year as a fifth seed, in spot 12. Although that then puts teams 11 and 13 up against 2 seeded teams, which doesn't really solve any problems. and as Barry said, seeded or not, its tough road to the finals no matter who you meet. Wasn't there a rumor a couple of years ago that the Dutch were looking at putting a team together? As for the US, just put Ricky Logan, Jonathon Allard, Craig Dollansky, Donny Shotz and Peter Murphy in some borrowed Supers (I'm sure Pete Rees and Scott Meirs have enough spares between them!) and let them loose. I'm sure they'd quickly change their minds ;D I'm surprised Allard and Logan keep coming back after that experience! Didn't Logan get rolled in his first race in a Superstock? (Also, slightly off topic, but Mr Magor, is it possible to get a "multi-quote" button for these here wonderful forums? Or does Proboards not have that feature?)

Forget about the 'seeding'. get all managers/captains in the middle, after parade, then do the draw live. 1st team out of hat races 2nd team out of hat & so on. 13th team will start the 2nd round.

Would be good to see a different draw system just to mix it up. To win the trophy at the end your team has to win 4 superstock teams races against 4 different teams it doesnt matter who comes up against who really.

Actually, with an 11 or 13 team draw, you could meet the same team twice, once in qualifying and then again in the finals, as it's the top 4 teams on points that make the finals, which means its possible for a team to lose a race in qualifying but still make it through on points.

It has previously been done on TV, but not in recent years. The draw will be announced on LiveSPORT radio, as it has been the last 2-3 years, on Tuesday morning between 9am and 10am.

Aparantly Brice Robertson confirmed to someone the allstars will be there, but one of the alleycats said there will be no allstars this year? I guess only time will tell.
