I see you point, it could mean the final might not be the boomer we all expect and hope for. From a personal point of view i would hate to see an all palmy final again. I thought the Palmy final this year lacked the kill instinct with the family match ups. I'm not saying there were no big hits because there were but I can't see families putting one another over the fence not that I believe any driver ever tries to hurt another driver.

Barry that wouldn't be fair. This is how they ended up so be it. The more rules you have the more rules you need to cover the other rules. This is simple and it is fair.

I was not suggesting you just pick who you want to see race who, but a means for not putting the same teams together until the Final. It is what it is however, and a team still has to win at least 3 of their 4 races to win the title.

That was short lived. Apparently changing the colour of the team changes nothing.
Form is temporary, class is permanent.
Come back next year busters.

I can see how easy it was for muncho to get his p and b confused given the hometown of the current 1NZ who races for the panthers;)

After watching both races I think its fair to say that when both teams went on to their victories respectively they really REALLY dealt to the other team.
When the busters won Penn was damaged, bengston was hardly moving, only rees and miers were circulating with any pace.
Vice versa in the panthers won race. Elsworth got dealt to and I think I saw a motor go (or at least a lot of smoke).
Both teams had their turns at "getting their beans" and took it well.
Palmy just happened to win when it counted most.
