has any other track won 3 team champs in one season besides palmy pumas stock car champs and panthers the two super stock champs I'm pretty sure the Steelers also won the Huntly Teams meeting, and they won the Teams Invasion here in Palmy in November as well. So that would make it 5 teams meetings won by Palmy teams so far this season. |

think stratford might have held 3 teams titles in the one year back in the early days of the team champs...think there may have been a 3rd one run at rotorua.....stand to be corrected if wrong

there was a team champs at rotorua it could of been the north island team champs was it the meeting where a stratford team member crashed down a bank on the way to the meeting i could be wrong

There used to be 6 annual (Super)stock Teams meetings, Auckland (Teams Nats), Baypark (Invitation?), Rotorua (North Island), Meeanee (East Coast), Stratford (West Coast) and Palmerston North (THE Teams Champs), although I'm not sure all six ever raced in the same season?
I'm sure there was, in the '80's, a time when there was five at least? I'm sure the Stratford Scrappers won all 5 once, 15 races (only 3 per meeting back then).
Now there are just two.

yes i remember being therethe old bay park track one meeting and it was the farmer jones meats baypark team that were racing the wildcats 1 lap to go 98m ian carlyle leading and then boomshanker a wilcat driver pulled out and backed into carlyles right rear wheel guard and over carlyle went ye ha sorry if i spelt ians sir name wrong

I forgot about that one , even made the effort to attend one year too. Pity it never managed to keep going . Costs to stage were too great though. |

Oh well someone will no doubt put me right. Wildcats won at the old bay park more than once I believe. |

The majority of the current top Super stocks racing week in week out at Palmy come from the Stratford area. wat 3x joblins and barr?? 4 out of 15-20 top palmy superstocks howd you get that as majority beachBOY??? haha |
