Was lucky enough to catch a few words with the maestro manager Gary Parkes and the discussion revolved around how well all of the young fellas have stepped up into Superstock Teams racing. I cannot remember if there has ever been such a crop of new talent in one year, across so many teams. Sure some of them have some pretty good mentors to coach them along but they all seem to have a natural instinct and ability to make good race decisions.
Thanks to all the Mums, Dads, Sponsors and Teammates who have got these guys out on track.

And you would have to say that the Ministox class has had a lot to do with it. All the talent that is coming thru has come from the Ministox. Id say its the best thing that's happened to speedway. Some of these kids have more talent in there right foot than some of us experienced drivers.

Yes, mini stocks are definitely working well in terms of getting the young ones some experience. Gary Ellis has confirmed this is definitely his last season in the car, so his boys will be straight into a super next year. ;D
