Hi everyone, the good news is I have now sold over 500 tickets myself an approximation of another 150 from around the countryside so we are up to about 650 sold so far. this is awesome but we need to sell more. 1500 is the minimum goal, 3000 is the ultimate.
Unfortunately the Peter Barry Teams was rained off but it was a nice day trip to Taupo
Everyone who has seen the Tank are snapping up tickets by the handfuls, I am sorry I haven't got the poster thing done and sent out, I know this would help. it's almost there.

Any suggestions on what you think would help in selling tickets around the country are most welcome and would be appreciated.

The car will be at Speedfeast this Thursday The Huntly Promotion have allocated us a spot up by the food vans to display the car & sell some tickets. Awesome!

Little Jesse is doing very well, kindy, swimming lessons, & Speedway seem to be agreeing with him.

I know I am probably not doing this raffle justice with updates etc but you can not imagine how busy I have been over the past few months,

Re the raffle progress, Tickets are moving along nicely and we still have about 2 months to go and every ticket sold is another step up the ladder for Jesse and his Cancer treatment. I will recall the tickets & send you all a courier bag nearer the time.

This message is an official one.

Unfortunately tickets sales are falling way short of the required 1500 to make the planned draw happen on June the 30th.
Current sales are under 900 tickets sold leaving a huge short fall.

So here is the official part.
The organisers of the raffle (Team Jesse) have decided to extend the Cancer Treatment Fundraising Raffle for TEAM JESSE by 22 days and do the draw anyway.

The reason for the 22 day extension is that the organisers of the CRC SPEEDSHOW in Auckland have invited TEAM JESSE to have a display in the foyer at the show, sell tickets over the 2 days, and then have one of the many stars of the show do a live draw at the end of the second day.
Regardless of the amount of tickets sold at that point, I guarantee the draw will be happening.

After speaking to the gambling commission in Wellington they said. “ Because the tickets had a completion date and we intend to extend by 22 days we need to offer refunds to ticket holders who no longer wish to participate.”

If you are reading this and haven’t already brought a ticket there are still plenty of tickets left, and the odds are awesome. If you brought a book today you would have a 1 in 14 chance of taking the Superstock home or one of the other prizes.

The trailer is under construction by a professional Trailer Builder, Mike Hansen,
Mike contacted me a few days ago regarding Raffle tickets, and has since offered to build the tandem trailer 3rd prize at No Charge, He also gained full sponsorship for all the trailer parts needed at No Charge from Trailcom including alloy wheels. The tyres are being sponsored by Mag & Turbo, the ply runners by Plyable, and Mainstream freight are going to transport the trailer up to Auckland for the CRC Speedshow display also No Charge.
Mike Hansen will have a Raffle Book in the next couple of days.

with the odds being what they are, Id say it's got to be one of the best value for money tickets in the country with a lot better odds than lotto. Hands up who spent $50.00 bucks on lotto tickets last month for a shot at 1 in how many million chance of winning as apposed to 3 shots at a 120,000.00 prize pool with the odds sitting currently 1 in 900 chance of winning.
We are hoping to sell a few more tickets to get the figures up for the little guy, but regardless of the ticket sale outcome at the CRC Speedshow there will be 3 very happy winners come the 22nd of July.

now who should we ask to do the draw? and make the calls.

Hi all I hope all the rebuilds are going well,

I have to make an amendment to my last post.
the raffle will be extended by 21 days not 22 & will be drawn on the 21st at the CRC speedshow.,

this will be a huge event for the Team Jesse fundraising drive. not only will we be selling tickets for the Speedway raffle and doing the live draw from the show but will also be doing Quick fire Raffles throughout the weekend, we have a few awesome prizes to raffle off already,
