yes angela but here we have 2 clubs with same interests and cars .but two conflicting sets of rules .you say you dont mind wgo running with your club... but wgo wont let you run with them. as stated above.no wonder some people are getting pissed and have walked ..... from what i understand porry, wgo can not stop a competitor from racing at huntly.as cars run under snz rules on snz sanctioned tracks.

Reply to the above postings from the Historic Stock Car club of NZ On the 22nd of May HISCONZ received a letter from SNZ advising that SNZ had drafted a set of rules for "Historic Stock cars on Speedway NZ tracks" and that a meeting to be chaired by SNZ director Ricky Boulton would be arranged and we were invited to send a representive. On the 27th May we replyed to the letter. On the 28th May we were advised the meeting would be held in Auckland on Sunday 21st July. By the 10th July with no further information we contacted SNZ only to be told the proposed meeting was cancelled. In September HISCONZ learnt through this website that a meeting had been held and a set of rules adopted. The Historic Stock car Club did not receive an invitation to the reschuled meeting and to date SNZ have failed to reply to any of our emails and letters.
Until now we have kept our dealings with SNZ. However a comment by Anglea in the posting above must be replied to. Her comment that the Historic Club would only be running class one is wrong. The Historic Stock car Club has and still caters for all retired stock cars. Our rules of which SNZ has had copies of for a number of years divides the cars into 3 classes, 1 Historics, classics, 3 Modern era.Since the club was formed in 1993 we have demonstrated all classes together on SNZ tracks with no dramas. We do not race and we do not allow any contact.I accept it is only Anglea's understanding however who passed on such information is wrong and shows a complete lack of knowledge about our club.
We have our views on the rules however we will not make any comment until SNZ give us the opportunity.

yes john was wondering why the historic club was even mentioned as you have your own idenity and club for years and shouldnt even been mentioned in this problem .betreen the two classic stockcar clubs with to different set off rules .our esteemed new club presadent has made a ruling nothing to do with scb that WGO. no cars over 1986 an tin bodies only .were central are pre any thing but can run fibre bodies .these are club rules not scb .i have received a number of txs an emails from youd be surprised but i do no a lot of people AFTER 45 YEARS IN THIS GAME AN I NO THERE ARE A LOT OF NO COMMENTS opps.from members off both clubs etc watching this .the way it is no tin bodies you dont run at huntly graig club rule .were does scb say any different .

What communication do you want. As we keep our members informed of every thing that is going on, as you are not a member of our club you are not receiving any of this information. I have stated the rules from SNZ and Our club rules what else do you require. So I think that if you want communication from our club you should apply to be a member or go to the club that you belong to and talk to them instead of trying to stir up trouble. As I have stated before each Club is entitled to there own rules. If you don't like the rules then don't be a member. As for people getting pissed off its our understanding that the only one getting pissed off is you, because the rules are not want you want. Rules cant be changed just to keep the few people happy.

wow - THAT was a pissy answer. Porry was referring to the club that he is part of not yours, after all - why would he care that the president of a club he does not belong to made a major decision without notifying the members of his/her club?
I also noticed that he asked a question a week and a half ago that hasnt been answered at all - maybe a closer look without getting snide might help?

still no comunication. no wonder poeple getting pissed off .. Well Laurie most of them don't go on macgors as they either havnt got a computer or know how to use one. Anyway from my point it was not discussed without you and suggest highly that you contact Waikato golden oldies not central as its not there problem. We all have our views and we all voted you were there and you said no problems you understand. So go talk to the people concerned with your issues with your tissues. Terry (fireball 77H)
