The mouthwatering prospect for me is , if bootey is down on points and looking likely to miss qualifying, will he target the bloke ( in my opinion ) who took him out of last year's championship? ..... A certain Mr Rees lol

A certain Mr Rees lol In my thinking, either both or neither qualify from that group. unless one has a mechanical issue.

there is certainly going ot be some action im sure, these guys all know how to use bumpers thats for sure without pointing out the obvious haha and im sure a few have LONG memorys... i recall plenty of guys championships being ended over the last 5 or so years by other drivers and just about everyone of those occasions both drivers ae still racing and entered eg, boote, mccabe, ngatai rees just to name a few

It's going to be an AWESOME meeting. I was there in 1988 when Paul Wade beat Bryce Penn in a run-off, and again in 2001 when Murray Hobbs won in a dramatic event. Over all it's been many MANY years since I missed a New Zealand Superstock title, but sadly I have to miss this one. Good luck to all those involved.........

well good to see craig boote and peter rees in the same group, nelson repeat? ?? What happens if night 1 of teams is rained out and Palmy make it through to the finals... No Rees at HB to qualify then... You can also add to that, Heibner, Asher, Dare who could be affected

More likely no Rees at Palmy, Pumas did okay without him against Young Guns

So he withdraws from the team if there's a rainout night one... What if it rains out for night two but qualifying was fine?? It'd be good to hear what these guys would do... I probably would not leave a team 1 driver (and car potentially) down for the finals

More likely no Rees at Palmy, Pumas did okay without him against Wild Cats Merry Xmas everyone. One thing many people forget to talk about is peter Rees loyalty. You can gaur tee that he will put a teams title ahead of an individual title and not let down his team or province. That might not gell with what some people want to think about the man, but thems the facts. Just look at the list of individual titles he has forgone in the past to teams race.

I dont know the guy too well but my guess would be he would much rather enojoy teams racing over the individual also perhaps? Someone correct me if im wrong

Think he will be at supers from wat we here regardless of teams , he don't have 1nz superstock title and that is his biggest goal these days
